What does your story look like?

Do you believe that each one of us was born to be something and the discovery of that is our life?

All my life I’ve only believed that I was a part of some big story. Since childhood, extravagant and exciting love stories made me forget love in regular everyday life. I constantly categorized myself to fit into the perfect role for a successful career woman, pretty, outgoing, social, magical and so much more of all that glitter. I kept running behind creating scenes, finding the one, being so prepared to play my part that I forgot to write the story. I forgot that this story was written by me.

Chapters didn’t come to life. My every day was a page.

It’s not wrong to dream. Although, you are missing out on living while you dream. If there is no story being created, that page will be blank right? Keep repeating that every single day. Would you want to read that book?

Do you know what the funny thing about this is? All this epiphany came to me while I was in a new country. In my first home. For the last 3 days in the same room because I started creating my den in there. How was this new country or home any different from my home country? I was experiencing each day in the same way, expecting a different story.

Just like I kept expecting the same crazy dramatic love from every relationship. Think about it. If you want your new relationship to go a different way. Stop just expecting a different outcome when you’re going to remain the same.

This does not make me a good fictional writer or anyway close to it. All I know is, for now, is that I do not want to stop writing or expressing myself anymore. I do not aim to stop telling myself stories. Although, I definitely learned to keep my wonderland to my stories and thoughts.
